Week 11: May 3 - June 9 Remote Learning Lesson & Activity:
Nonfiction is AMAZING! Last week you researched an insect, shared a drawing and a fact. THIS week, we're sticking with PebbleGo and nonfiction, but we're moving on to FISH!
1. Watch me navigate PebbleGo and read the "About Fish" article in the
video below.
2. Visit www.pebblego.com
log in with our username: jcs and password: clark
3. Pick one FISH to learn about
(select animals then fish)
4. Use the template provided, or a plain piece of paper and share:
a. the name of the fish you picked
b. a drawing of your fish
c. one or two facts you learned about your fish
5. I'd love to see what you did and learn about the fact you picked--
send me a picture of your work if you want!

Watch the lesson introduction (and the directions on how to use the ebook for our story). Read the ebook, then play a quick (4 questions) game called fact or fiction.

April is National Poetry Month & this week, we're again looking at syllables and how they create rhythm in poetry. We're looking at the Haiku poem -- it's short, only 3 lines, but it's rhythm is made up of 17 syllables, TOTAL.
